Youth Mental Health First Aid ( YMHFA) is a skills-based training that teaches parents, family members, care givers, teachers, school staff, camp staff, peers, neighbors and health and human services workers and any other adult how to identify, understand and respond to an adolescent (age 12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
Here are three different ways the training can take place. Each training also will include a facilitator fee. Trainings can be with 5-30 people.
